Braun Hut Trip - All Inclusive

We currently have these privately guided huts trips still available for the 2022/2023 season (call now they are going fast):

  • April 17-20 Lindley - Friends (3 nights) 4.5 miles to initial hut - *advanced hut

Backcountry tour up to one of the well appointed huts and enjoy a glowing fire all weekend — along with great food and drink and choose-your-adventure ski terrain right out the front door.  Aspen is home to two of the best hut systems in our country with cozy clean "huts" that offer relatively easy access and a life time of ski terrain surrounding them in the heart of the central Rocky Mountains.

Here at Aspen Expeditions, we have been guiding clients of varying abilities and ambitions up to the huts for more than 35 years, since the first huts were built. Both the 10th Mountain* and Braun Hut Systems are available; trips are fully customizable, and options exist for multi-day outings! *(Please note: additional charges will apply for 10th Mountain trips based on higher hut fees. Enquire for specifics.)

Our most popular choice is our All-Inclusive Hut Trip, we take care of all food costs (including shopping and meal prep), reserving the hut/associated fees, and all gear you may need (AT ski/snowboard equipment, avalanche safety equipment, lightweight sleeping bags, backpacks etc..).

(Want a guide, but have your own gear and want to take care of booking the hut and buying/planning food on your own? Check out our ‘Standard’ Hut Trip option!).

Cancellation policy:

AE requires a credit card to hold your reservation. Then full payment is due 30 days before the trip start date.  We do charge a 3.5% fee for all service products purchased with a credit card over $3000. If you choose to cancel within 30 days of your scheduled trip, you will be charged full price. If your guide decides that weather makes your scheduled trip a no-go, we will work with you to reschedule, give you a credit, or refund your trip. Travel Guard insurance is highly recommended and is available via our website homepage.

Risk Management

Please note: AEW's number one priority is your safety. Many conditions affect our guides' decisions in the mountains, including client fitness and comfort, weather conditions and route conditions. There are inherent hazards in mountain travel such as inclement weather, avalanches, rock fall, ice fall that our guides manage yet cannot eliminate. The combination of our guides' formal training and wealth of experience assures that their sound decision creates an enjoyable and safe mountain experience. Aspen Expeditions reserves the right to turn around or change routes without refunds or credits under any conditions.
