You're invited - 5 pm, Jan 13, Alehouse - Know before you Go

Come to Aspen Expeditions' Backcountry Snowpack Roundtable Discussion this Wednesday, January 13, 5 pm at the Aspen Highlands' Alehouse.  Featured guests include Cory Gates from aspenweather.net and Rutledge Saunders from Delorme InReach (the world's only truly global satellite communicator with built-in navigation).

Cory Gates with Aspen Weather will present his technical models and techniques on how he forecasts the local Aspen area weather, along with the challenges involved.

Rutledge Saunders from Delorme will present the newest global satellite communicator with built-in navigation, the InReach Explorer.

It's FREE and INFORMATIVE!

Sponsored by Strafe Outerwear and Salomon.

Navigate, create waypoints, log your trip and find your way back. Send and receive text messages. Trigger an interactive SOS. Plan, track and share your journey. You can do all of this from one rugged handheld device with 100% global coverage from Iridium. You can also pair it with your mobile device to access topographic maps and U.S. NOAA charts.
