Hut Trip - Standard

Aspen is home to an extensive system of backcountry huts, which can offer skiers/riders of all abilities a complete escape into the wilderness. Both the 10th Mountain and Braun Hut Systems can be accessed just a few miles from town!

Suitable for individuals, groups, and families of all ages and abilities, snowshoe or ski to one of these huts, and enjoy a relaxing night by the fire as a reward for your efforts. For backcountry skiers, many of these remote mountain cabins offer exciting ski-touring / split-boarding options in untracked powder right out the front door! Trips are fully customizable and options exist for multi-day outings with our professional AMGA trained/certified ski guides.

Choose our Standard Hut Trip if you want to take care of booking the hut, planning/buying food on your own, and if you have your own AT gear (complimentary use of AEW avalanche safety gear can be arranged if needed).

(Need AT gear? Want us to take care of booking the hut and buying/planning all the food? Check out our 'All-Inclusive' Hut Trip option!).
