Can't make it this Friday? We'll be going out every other Friday or on a custom date scheduled that works for you and your group (4 people max guide ratio). Enjoy a great tour in the backcountry along with the local knowledge about the status of the backcountry snowpack! Just contact us!

March 18-20, 2016: AIARE LEVEL 1 AVALANCHE COURSE ... The AIARE Level 1 Avalanche Course provides a complete introduction to the avalanche phenomenon, avalanche terrain, decision making, and rescue. In a continental snowpack such as the Elk Mountains, AE's customized instruction maximizes student learning outcomes as they relate to backcountry travel.
